Something kinda odd about that story.
Airlines are within their right to take anyone off the plane for overbooking. When it all settles out, the US Govt will reaffirm that fact. But in the mean time, the CPD Aviation Police officer got suspended for doing his job as instructed. Justice is served, he gets paid to sit at home while we try and feel better.
It might not feel right, but you do get $1300 in compensation.
I wouldn't be real happy, but I wouldn't need to be forced off and whine like a baby. And now the people of China are considering it a racist act. They learn quickly.
I'm not sure which patients he had to see in the next morning, his State Physicians License is suspended.
I like the United Club food selection better, anyway.
