Live from Cay Caulker Belize...

What are the yellow and blue plastic pieces that come with the Delta 4 reg? There is nothing noted in the manual.

Also, for adjusting the breathing resistance, is their a hard stop to the number of turns you can adjust, or is the knob designed to keep going?

Just assembled and testing in the pool before the dives begin!

The yellow and blue inserts are accent color plates included with early shipments - meant to replace the translucent black that is already installed if you wish.

The adjustment knob will stop when turned back towards you (increasing resistance) and will begin to click, but still turn when turned to the opposite max adjustment.

The colors are used to identify (color code) various breathing gases. For example: Black would be your primary air or whatever else, Yellow - Deco gas, Blue / Gree - Nitrox, etc...

Not a bad thought for color coding the gas mixes, but in reality they originally were and are just color accents. Three right now..yellow, blue and it comes from the factory with Black/Graphite.

Dang! Should have patented it or copyrighted it... Ok just kidding... Love your regulators!

Great responses from the Oceanic staff. Can't say enough about how we appreciated the service and assistance we have received from the Oceanic crew, and their Canadian reps. Love the gear, and it has served us well for years. Love our new Oceanic gear even more.

I have all three colours and currently have the blue one in. You have to be extra careful when screwing the metal ring back onto the front of the reg as to not "cross thread" the threads. That would not be good.
