I don't know if would help, but I was wondering if there was a way to post some sort of graph displaying the amount of money collected toward the defense fund kind of like united way. I think this would give everyone an Idea what is needed and to set a goal.

How 'bout a bar graph with no numbers on it?? Get the bossman to pick an arbitrary dollar amount that is not displayed to represent 100% and we can keep poking the kitty till the graph fills up

this could work as intimidation too since the enemy won't know anything other than the strength and determination of 100,000+ people is dead-set against their winning anything in court.
