I dive with an OMS IQ PAK,STA, 45lb wing, SS back plate, but opted for the DUI weight harness. I'm very happy with this set up and it works well for me. I looked at Dive Rite, there were certain things I just didn't care for. As far as Halycon gear, it's too expensive and over rated and I don't agree with all of the DIR commandments, so why support it by buying their equipment.

It really makes a statement when you are willing to dive junky, dangerous equipment just to make a point.. Just what statement that is, I am not sure ;)

Just curious, what specifically are you referring to when you say that OMS equipment is junky and/or dangerous?

Just got to go diving this weekend and dove the OMS pockets. Personally, I did not like them - my waist was too cluttered and bulky.
:D

He admitted to me in a PM that he was indeed Scuba446, and now he has said he's left the board and not coming back. Good Riddance.

Personally, I have a Deep Outdoors wing with SS backplate.

I finally got my DO Matrix out for a couple of dives and I love it. It is ulrta stable and extremely comfortable. I was money well spent. I the only thing I can think of that I dislike is the velcro sleeve the inflator hose it wrapped with. It seems to make it some what difficult to dump air unless I am nearly vertical. I guess practice with it will solve that problem. All in all I am very happy and I can't wait to take it too Bonaire in 3 weeks.

Oh one more thing. For those that are thinking of getting one I would also consider getting an STA as I was not thrilled by DO's recomended way for mounting the tank, wing, and harness in a single tank setup.
