I've used bungee and find that it works very well. I've also made spring straps using springs I bought from McMaster Carr. Once you've figured out the length and diameter you need try ordering a set from here.

Most local shops want around $50 for spring straps! At that price, I might as well consider buying a pair of 2xl fins, swapping the straps and reselling the 2xl with smaller straps in the used section for $50 or so.


Besides, doing it myself will be a little satisfying if I can get it right.

Did you ever get replacement springs? What length is the stock length spring on an xl eeddy?

If have some springs from xs scuba that are too long and im in need of shorter ones.
