One thing I did not say. You can come with non diving friends. And from the restaurant on floor -2, they can watch you diving shallow. This is very nice to bring kids on board and to convince the reluctant adults.

I edited my post as I meant to say from the US. I lived in Belgium for nearly 9 and a half years…we moved back this past May. And although the diving in Western Europe was not all that spectacular (quarries, lakes, North Sea, all with very limited visibility), diving was very accessible, affordable, and a year round pursuit….diving regularly and the folks I used to splash with are dearly missed.I could drive to Belgium . I live in the Netherlands.
