I found this book at an estate sale. It is a good book. It tends to be a little technical but very interesting.

I didn't find it to be all that technical. It's one of about a dozen or so diving books in my collection, and I find it to be quite readable. Anything technical is explained so that a typical reader can understand it. Especially if they're a recreational scuba diver. Any chance you were holding the book upside down?

Too bad GG charges so damn much for the remnants of his collection of artifacts.

Even if I didn't bag it myself, a first class China plate would look pretty damn good on my fireplace mantel.

It was a good read. Shadow Divers is a good book too!

I'm currently reading it (Deep Descent). About half way through. ;)

You must read instruction manuals for fun if you do not think the story has a lot of technical information. I know that he does explain things for the average reader; However I am reading the book for entertainment not to learn how to be a wreck diver. :eyebrow:

I guess I just figured that many, if not most readers would be divers and many, if not most divers would either know, or want to learn, something about diving wrecks.

I found that this book as well as some others as Shadow Divers, The Last Dive, and others on the subject were not only very entertaining but very informative. I do know some of the charachters in these books personally and can say that they are very true to life.
