If you talk to a Trojan owner you’ll get one answer and if you talk to a Light Monkey owner you’ll get another answer. This is coming people that regularly dive with each other and have both strobes on at the same time.

I have used this [https://www.amazon.com/Innovative-Water-Activated-Flashing-Marker/dp/B01N547H96] on a night dive and it worked beautifully. They activate by dropping in the water and are very cheap. Not sure if this is what you are looking for.

DuckDuckGo helped me out. I don't know, but I suspect that those are not NEARLY bright enough (for what I want).

Not a cheap proposition but still...

I had a Jotron, the end cap was plastic, it fractured. Jotron customer service was nil.

Another SB members Jotron broke but end cap was ok, I suggested a coin toss, he won, I sent him my strobe.

Replaced with a Tektite from DGX, it's never seen the water. Price was ok, as it's not mission imperative for me didn't want to drop a ton of coin on one. If I ever get around to using it and it fails I'd likely go for a N@90 one.
