I know this is probably sacrilege to many but is anyone using an MP3 or IPOD on their deco stops? If so any recommendations on brand, model?

If you do take the classic style iPod under water, be aware they're extremely sensitive to water damage. I once flooded my iPod in a plastic bag while swimming with only a few drops of water and the unit was finished.

Read a book. :)

Magazines that are stapled together hold up well. Take them down in a zip lock bag and bring them back up in it. The key is to keep them wet, at least till the staples rust away which takes about 5 days or so.

Playboys were a favorite, but they are now glued together, so you may have to use a more aggressive porn, for an aggressive deco.

Listening to iPods on deco stops? Heck, I'm too busy looking out for great whites... and I'd be afraid the theme from "Jaws" would come up as a random music selection!

I subliminally took it as a cave diver on a deco stop. All you're looking out for there is the rock and the turtle :)

I often wonder about these "computers" we all carry around.
Why not have some basic games for your deco.....
Tetris, pac man, etc. You could also use it deep to check basic functions at depth....
