Well, at least it’s freshwater and on the border between cool and warm.

Don’t worry: once you’re in North Florida, South Florida is an afternoon drive away... And the Keys are only 2 hours past that. Or Pensacola is even closer.

I tell ya, it’s a *real* slippery slope once you get past Valdosta... (Stingy eye water is still a thing... :) )

That's ambitious. I live just south of cave country and never go anywhere but cave country

Does anyone in Cave Country know folks who work on the High Springs city/town council?
G-ville is probably pissed that they're trying to create a new "Springs County".

Hello. My name is NetDoc. I live at the end of the digital dirt road in the land once roamed by the Heckawe Indian Tribes.

Hell freezing over would be @Marie13 coming down to South Florida for some saltwater diving

Not likely to happen so don’t hold your breath. I don’t rinse my gear now and I have no urge to start. And your water is too warm.

Oh I promise I'm not holding my breath.

You don't know stink until you dive in saltwater for a few days without rinsing your gear :vomit:

To be fair, this is federal money for rural broadband expansion. I'd be happy to assist.

Not to hijack this, as I'm sometimes prone to do, but you have my attention Hartattack.
Maybe we move to PMs, but I live in a rural area with no paved roads in the neighborhood and right at the Alachua/Marion County line between Micanopy and McIntosh. ATT is pretty much the only game in town for internet and as I said before, it's DSL only. ATT has said for years we'd get better internet, but nothing seems to happen. Last I talked to them, they said 5G might actually be coming. This is a rural subdivided area with single homes on wooded land ranging from ten acres to hundreds.
