@bluesails thank you so much for your effort of writing these very usefull details! It seems Solitude at Anilao would entertain my non-diver family members enough (they are good at being entertained by reading books and just enjoying lazy time by the pool/sea), and I think we can figure out few day trips from both PG and Solitude to nearby islands and some waterfalls, maybe the Taal volcano could be interesting as well! The brunch at Antonio’s sounds fun idea, as we will be at Solitude during the Christmas days, in case they would have even some special brunch offering?
If I would have more time I would probably go to Dauin/Dumaquete, but as we have some limitations on available time and uncertainty whether the whole family can arrive at the same time PG / Anilao seems so easy to reach to allow for flexibility…I now have flights to/from Manila booked as well as accommodation.

One more question: I have came across a day trip of Mindoro Coral Reef Safari from Puerto Galera/Sabang, going to (as they claim) less dived Islands of Calapan ( Purposeful Scuba Safaris In The Verde Island Passage )…which sounds cool….I wonder whether anyone has been there? It is rather expensive though thus thinking if worth for 12k PHP by person (includes 8 hour boat trip with small group, 3 dives, lunch)?
