I called Sealife and was told second week of May.

As of today we are looking at another two weeks to start shipping the DC1200.....

We have a large backorder pool and demand is getting greater each week. I would anticipate a little delay to some dealers just based on the sheer volume of orders we have to ship.
It will be well worth the wait though!

Do you feel that your backorders will be filled before the rebate expires?

I got an email back from Sealife's sales department that they are expecting to start shipments to dealers the week of May 17th. They recommended checking with your local dealer since all will not get shipments at the same time.

How are things looking now? Do you still think that the backoders will be filled before the rebate expires?
the DC 1200 is available now 499.00 with underwater housing, less wide angle lense...you will enjoy the piano keys so much beeter than the DC1000....try it out
