I'm currently looking at DC UltraFlex Pro ("tech cut" / custom cut). Before I actually inquire to my local DC dealer, would anyone happen to know how much I can expect it to cost? Just want to know so that I won't have a heart-attack in my LDS.

Retail pricing on the ultraflex is $1800. Add $200 if you want it custom. Add around $150 for tech pockets (which I assume you will want since you drank the kool aid). Add another $150 for dry glove system.

You should check to see if you can fit into a stock Z-tec. They do not do custom in the Z-series but if you fit one well, it is the same material as an ultraflex and cut much like a cave cut DUI. And, it comes with tech pockets already sewn in. This suit retails for $1500. One thing to keep in mind though, if the boots don't fit, you'll have to pay $150 for a boot swap.

Sounds like the Z-Tech is the better option (if it fits me). Thanks for the info! :)
I'm assuming I can have a cuff-dump installed on it?

If it doesn't fit, DC does a good job at the custom cut - which is a true custom - and is well worth the extra $200. IMO. The pockets are just the right size and shape, too - however, if you keep them full, the little velcro strips in the folds on the sides are a waste.

If you ask me, you only have a slim chance on getting good fit on a Z-tec. And when I say slim, I mean slim. You know, talll and skinny with not much in terms of a keester. I myself have benefited from having bon bons within easy access all my life. That combined with having a Filipino's vertically challanged frame combined for not even being close to fitting in a stock Z-tec.

The cuff dump thing is pretty straightforward, even after the fact. I don't have experience one way or another with those things but I personally tend to lean towards the shoulder dump.
