Davis reef Islamorada 11-19-13

Finally made it out to the reef!!. With the windy weather and other issues it felt like forever.

Viz green and around 25 feet. Seas were just beautiful and flat calm

We could not get one camera to work, so we dove with 2 little point and shoots and no external flash

Dolphins on the reef, 8 turtles and school of 20 jacks(seemed to be around 2feet) hunting

Goldentail and spotted morays and no lionfish

Put in a word to keep the flat calm seas and lots of critters. Viz can improve though. We will be there Dec. 18-23 then off to FLL. Would really appreciate some great weather! Had a bit of chilliness last year and I think only one day suitable for being on/in the water and year before only 2 days on the water, first of which was pretty rough for a first time check dive. Did I mention I can't wait?

Oh, and great pix as usual. Make it awful hard to sit in my office here in Ohio and look at though. Teensey tiny bit of the ol jealousy bug you know.
