2. water temp 78
3. Numerous thick schools of the usual characters
4. Multiple green morays
5. Goliath grouper
6. During the dive the sunlit reef became a night dive almost for about 10 minutes (Huge thick mat of sargassum)
7. Unusual I saw 2 lionfish together.Have not really seen them at all on the shallow sites

The 2023 Florida Lionfish Challenge rules are going to be announced in a week or so. Some people are scouting locations, taking notes and just waiting for the opener to the 4 month long tournament, BEFORE they begin harvesting.

The colorful black grunt/reef photo is a classic Key's shot and why everyone should make a visit to dive the keys.

Never really saw lionfish on this reef and i have dove it hundreds of times
