ScubaKimmie:
Eskimos go inside of blocks of ice to warm up. He was probably warmer inside of that block than the fans standing outside in the weather watching him.

As before, it's show business, I wouldn't burst a brain cell trying to figure it out :)

Eskimos have those big fur coats on, too. He was only wearing a pair of swim trunks. Hypothermia was beginning to set in, which may be part of his problem now.

Don't worry, I'm not going to hurt myself trying to figure it out. I want to see it just for the shock value -- after all, it isn't every day you get to see someone attempt suicide on national television...

Ice offers a lot more insulation than you'd imagine.

It's show business, he might not even be in the tank, after all he can make a 747 dissapear right?

Exactly!

Now that makes me want to sell all my commemorative collectable dead #3 Nascar driver stuff, too.

Mess with me, you mess with the whole trailer park, buster. Another night's TV viewing shot to hell.

So, you're saying what... the 747 will appear in the tank?

How about the red headed guy from NYPD Blue?

Or maybe Julia Louise Dreyfus?

Have you no scruples?

If I watch this tonight, I obviously have no use for scruples...

About the only thing positive that can come out of this is the before and after results of being in the water will be good for research purposes. I would think organizations like DAN would be interested in this stunt, but then again commercial divers stay submerged in water for months at a time.

This guy's a dip stick though. Anything for a buck.

I have to agree with Kimmie. It's not showbiz, or illusion, or magic. It 's somebody who is too stupid and lazy to get a real job and he has tapped into the minds of those who have no life of their own. Commercial says he trained with the seals. All I saw was him running with a stick! Shows how stupid he really is! If he tripped he could poke his eye out with that thing!

I don't think he is an illusionist. Aren't most of his "stunts" more or less like this one. I think it's more performance art. Or to put it another way as many others have, he's stupid.

Of course his body hurts after a week in a tube. Try standing in your closet for a week and your body will probably hurt too :)
