Dania Beach - Monday October 2nd 1pm

Is anybody able to dive on a weekday afternoon? Im taking my wife to FLL airport at noon on 10/2/06 and would like to try to get a dive or 2 in afterwards. If anyone wants to get wet I'll buy the air.

I can't make the Monday afternoon dive but are you available Saturday or Sunday? Or for a Tuesday night dive? You are talking about beach diving, right?

I only have a 5-6 hour window on Monday afternoon between taking my wife to the airport at noon and picking up co-workers there at 5:30. Beach, boat, whatever. I'm not picky. I'd just like to enjoy some clear water.

Debby, recommend any shops and/or charters near by?

Pro Dive has a 1pm charter and they are about 15 minutes from the airport. you get back about 5, after two tanks, so you'd be in time to pick up your workmates.

American Dream II is also near the airport, about 10 minutes, but I'm not sure of their weekday charter schedule.

I'd be interested in a boat dive.

Joe, Boatlawyer gave you good advice on American Dream II. They simply rock and if you check out these boards you will see LOTS of kudos for them. They are closer to FLL than Pro Dive is. Check with them to see if they can provide the gear you need (if you need more than tanks).

Although I am not real familiar with them (I use another dive shop that's a bit far out of your way), Lauderdale Diver is on 17th Street and they are on your way to American Dream.

If I was available I'd love to make a beach dive or two, but I'll be at work. Have fun!!

I think American Dream is closed on Mondays, judging form their posted schedule, which only goes through mid-September. Pro-Dive is my second choice. Their afternoon two tanker leaves at 1:00 p.m. and is four hours. Should put you back at the dock at 5, which is plenty of time to pick up co-workers at FLL.

Pro-dive is going to Tenneco Towers and a reef TBD at 1pm on 10/2/06. Cost is $64 w/ Tanks & wts. Arrive around noon and returns about 4:30 - 5PM.

I'm game. Anyone else?
