I don't know if the is the right place to post, so feel free to move it around. :)

Question... Do you have a Dan Tag and if so where do you wear it or keep it??

We have the dive insurance with Dan, but of course the Dan Tags are separate.. just wondered how anyone feels about that.... is it a good idea? or just a way to get money? Thanks:dazzler1:

I think it can save your life............

I have one, which is attached (tied on with cave line)to a spare hole on my backplate. That way, it's out of the way while I dive and even when my gear is stored, yet if (heaven forbid) rescuers ever have to cut me out of my gear it will be immediately obvious. It contains my most important information, my name, health insurance #, and emergency contact name.

I kept it on a D-ring on my harness. 2 years ago I took it off.
These days with Identity theft and all, I figure it's not a good idea to have all my information including my SSN where anyone can see it. Most divers I've met are decent and fun people but, hey you never know.

Mine is also on one of the D-rings. You can specify the information that will be included (as little or as much as you want).
