I was going to buy the DAN accident insurance just now, but noticed it doesn't cover non-dive accidents in country. Does anyone have a recommendation for accident insurance in the USA?

Specifically, if I crash my dirt bike 30 miles from nowhere and break both legs, what will cover the cost of evac? I have Aetna HDHP, but looking to make sure evac is covered fully. I'm using Garmin GPS, so getting the help isn't problematic, but cost most certainly is....
If you have a Garmin InReach device, Garmin offers a Search and Rescue Insurance Plan.

There can be the cost of evacuation and the cost of an air ambulance which are different.

For your broken leg case, you need to check your medical policy. Many will cover air ambulance. HOWEVER, HOWEVER, check specifically on that coverage. Air ambulance services can have huge charges that are beyond what medical policies cover.

I'm actually confused now about DAN and insurance. I need to be a DAN member, then get travel insurance, then get dive accident insurance? I'm pretty sure that before, if you were a "Preferred" member, you had all of this included. I liked it before when it was simple.

This is what I chose to do. It was $40 per year for the SAR plan through Garmin. If I'm reading the policy correctly, the only downside is that it will only kick in if you use the SOS on your Garmin device...

Their travel insurance covers that. You have to be 100 miles from home I believe, but I broke my leg in Fiji and they footed the entire bill. Transport to the hospital, surgery, first class on the way home, and transport once on the ground.
