DAN insurance

I have heard good things about the DAN insurance. I am most concerned about my equipment being lost or stolen. Anybody have any experience with the DAN additional insurance for equipment.

Also, can i get this insurance, DAN plus equipment, from their website and started immediately? I am leaving Sunday morning.Thanks

Many of us don't travel and dive without DAN. I think if you sign up online it will start then. Go for it.

about 80% of people on this board use DAN

not sure about their equipment insurance (i don't use it). i am pretty sure
your insurance starts immediately if you sign up over the net.

im with andy on this, we almost all have DAN, but for my equipment i go through DEPP, sorry but for the gear DEPP is unbeatable, in cost and replacment, and good fast service and coverage. now dont get me wrong i am not and can not say that DAN isnt just as good as i dont know!!!

Yes, coverage is right away.You just print out your card and take that with you.

calvin, i was pleased to see that andy found you thier web address (thanks andy) as i was trying to find it, if you need any further info here is my reps e-mail; and she handels most of northern cal I THINK!! but she is great and i had coverage on some of my photo equipment even before i got it and gave her the numbers, as i knew i would have the equipment during the weekend and wanted to be sure it was covered, she did so immedetly!!! e-mail sandy@equipmentprotection.com as i said she is my DEPP rep!!!
