dacor inflator button question ?

The shrader valve under my inflate button seems as if its'
not depressing enough to allow adequate air to fill my bc.
Anyone know if this valve under the button is suppose to be all the way seated, if I raise it up it bleeds air, but when seated
it seems like it does not open enough, thanks for any comments
or personal experiences. I know I could take it to a LDS but I
like to know these things in case I'm on a boat and need to
correct any small problem that may pop up.

Dacor techs here with a little more info on my valve.......
