If the spring tension is too low, I would be worried about the possibility of air accidentally dumping. Get a new cheap one so you know it works right and get her a hand strengthening device and keep it in the car and use it when in traffic - helps with tension.

We swapped it out for an XDeep inflator. Not only is the spring tension on the exhaust noticeably lower, the inflator itself is smaller and allows her better purchase on the button.

For whatever reason, the OEM for Subgravity (Hydpro) uses a 23mm corrugated hose/PI while every other K-inflator on the planet is 1". Make sure if you're swapping the inflator that you have the EPDM hose, since you'll need to stretch it a bit to accommodate the 1" inflator (~2.5mm larger diameter). It's well within tolerance for EPDM, but less elastic materials could be an issue.

The ham fisted may with time succeed in using their equipment correctly by attempting safer pursuits
Interdiving could work, but without the practice it would be difficult to differentiate rubbish, from fact

Until you rip the inflator hose off your wing.
