Cypress Springs Report 8-27-10

Cypress was great! I would like to see it with the sun out all the way.
Walter, I think glen got a pretty cool pic of the bubbles while you were in the cavern.

I guess Im going to have to make vortoberfest this year. Does everyone camp in the same area ?

When you are with just 2-3 divers, and you have the place to yourself, and the sun is strong, and the critters are chirping and singing, you have to force yourself to remember you are not in paradise.

I guess Im going to have to make vortoberfest this year. Does everyone camp in the same area ?

It's all pretty much walking distance. Anywhere you camp on the grounds will be fine as long as you are not too close to the Karaoke

Just got home and I am downloading the pictures now. It was a great day even if I did have to snorkel and not dive! In the next couple years there will be a new entrance to the cavern at Cypress. The spot Walter is talking about it about twice the size as it was a few years ago.

I will post some shots soon.

I know to many over and under shots....but give me a break....I couldn't dive, only snorkel.

You know I have to do at least one Black and White shot

The pics are great, I think the ones with that SM diver in them are your best work yet. Then again maybe I am biased .

I took a DCS hit about 45 days ago in the Galapagos Islands...I cannot dive yet. But I had to at least get wet today! Snorkeling at Cypress is still a good time.
