I cut the seals on my new fusion last night. It took me a while to make the first cut but went smoothly after that. I used a 2inch shears, never closing it all the way. No stretching,(per Whites). I took off 1/2 a ring at first to get some practice. To my surprise that was enough. I went from half strangled to slightly uncomfortable in one shot. I'm going to jump in the pool tonight for a test run.

Sure it is.

Good latex seals typically won't stretch so much and usually return to pretty close to original size over time.

Well, maybe You right or maybe not. But while I was almost fighting to take a breathe before, now it is just a bit tight, on the surface. And I do not think it is a matter of stretching seals to expand, it's rather stretching them so that are more flexible or ... strechable. If they are good or bad - You can ask Bare factory what quality of latex they use on HD Tech suits.
