I was not aware that it was DWADD when we met in 2009.

I have so many great memories from that trip out west and I really do owe it all to the SBers I met that weekend!!

I did that last year. No, they weren't sequential nights and days.

This being ever so slightly on topic, I was curious where I can get one of those hats, everyone in that movie had one and I'm feeling kinda jealous. The Cousteau organization has one put you have to donate $140 for it, kinda pricey for a hat especially considering it probably doesn't ship from the US. Do any of you own one?

My mother knitted me one for my birthday last year after i got my twin hose. She also got me a pipe which i use to blow bubbles

Yeah I’ll add my story. Was minding my own business blowing bubbles at budget backpacker dive shops in SE Asia with instabuddies & about 50 dives - didn’t even own a mask.

When BLAM. On his little island home stay – Malaysia Borneo – that dang gal handed me the address for Scubaboard.

Then came the avalanche… oh yeah dive insurance, rescue training, local cold water diving, drysuit (make that 2), bp/w (make that 3), 21 W Light, doubles, cave training, (multiple trips to Mx with my heart left in the Mx cenotes), stage, the longing for He & a scooter -- 200+ dives a year, falling deeper and deeper into ... !

Back then I didn’t know a single USA diver, and now I have dive friends all over the country & world! Never without a local partner, and plenty of invites on private boats, to other states and countries! Now to find a better job... Curse you Scubaboard !!!!!!!!!!!!!
