Friday, and the only place that the current was an issue was Paradise Reef North, at night. The current there was ripping, probably 5-6 knots or more. We were flying... really bad if your trying to take pictures.

I just posted a trip report.....

Have a great time.

6 knots is about 10 feet per second, much higher than I've ever seen on Paradise. That must have been a wild ride! Must also have been a short dive in order to get out before going under the cruise ships.

I just got back from Cozumel on last Thursday.
The worst current I had was when we dove to a ship wreck (I fogot the name of the site) on last Tuesday. We hung on to the rope that attached to the ship wreck to descend, but I felt like we were blown away by really strong wind. It was almost like mountain climbing with a rope. If I took my hands off from the rope, I would have been taken away by the current a few miles away in seconds.
Please be aware of it and have a wonderful time!
