Welcome to the board! Sorry, I haven't dove off NC/SC. But have fun with it.

What you want to know it's a fairly easy dive usually some artifacts found, think if I remember in about 70 to 80 feet depth. Well the weather you guess it can be good one day terrible next for that mater in hrs it can change, who you going out with if you don't mind me asking, also PM me.
I am in Fla right now will be back home latter this week, time to get wet miss my wreck dives in NC.
But also love this extremely clear and warm water I have seen down hear so far LOL.

Howdy!

Welcome to SB!!
:happywave Put us in your computer's favorites and check in often. This is a great place to learn, compare, argue :argue: Look around our various forums - everything from New-To-Scuba to Instructors-Only to Dive Medicine.

I think Scott missed your question. We have so much activitiy here on Intros that it's difficult to go back and read threads we already greeted new members on. You might send him a PM.

I'll be back in Atlantic Beach in October for the Seafood Festival and going out with Diver Down. Capt Bobby is a fun guy, just a little crazy at BarBQs.

I appreciate your advice on the profile info. So far I'm finding ScubaBoard very helpful and decent. I love to SCUBA and hope to become a Dive Master as soon as time allows! Thanks again for the greeting and help!

This board is fantastic. An abundance of information. LOL

Welcome to the board!!

I should like to come dive in NC/SC

I'll bet you've been diving with Coastal Scuba! Great folks.

If you like wrecks, I'd suggest getting a copy of Gary Gentiles books on wrecks in that area. He has one that covers SC and GA (read about the Governor and the "Sherman" there - he contests the ID of the Sherman and gives his evidence.) and two covering NC (one north of Hatteras, one south).

Welcome to the board,
Grier

Hi and thanks for the welcome! Everyone here at ScubaBoard has been very nice and more than eager to help! I love to dive and this site sure is great to have and share information! I see you are in Port St Lucie, FL. I was born and raised in Florida and have lived on both sides, in the middle and in the northern part of the state. My wife and I miss Florida more than anything and will be returning before long to settle down in the Naples/Fort Myers area. For now we are up here in the Shallotte, NC area taking care of her folks. I do what diving I can here but the waters can't compare to south Florida! I've dove some around the Keys and a little in GTMO Bay, Cuba while I was there in '88 and it was always 80'+ on vis! I miss the good ole dives! How is the diving in your area? Give me a shout back and thanks again!

Tracy
