I'm planning on diving Folly tomorrow and was wondering what the bottom temps are like. Anybody gone deep there lately? Thanks. (Will probably dive wet since the temps are probably warm enough but just wondering.)

I did not make note of the temp but on Sunday I was sweating profusely in my DS with nothing more than a poly base layer and a power stretch shirt. Poly only on the bottom. My buddy actually commented that he wished he had his wet suit.

58 degrees at 30 fsw / 63 degrees at 15-20 fsw on 7/23. There are a few thermoclines. I dove in my henderson 7/5mm with integrated hood and I was fine.

Thanks to all. Sounds like a wet-suit day to me! Looking forward to it.

Wow, those are pretty decent temps. Last year, we dove there wet in August and it got a little chilly...if I remember correctly it was about 48F @ 45 fsw. Of course, that didn't stop us from doing two dives. Have fun @ Folly...hope you see the torpedo ray.
