Nope. Stayed at Sunset Waters and dove with Easy Divers (before they moved to Habitat). Best diving we've done to date! Resort left some to be desired...

Damselfish you are a Goddess. Thanks for your help.
It is nice to get the positive feedback.

gangrel...we'll be staying at sunset waters in Feb. What kind of problems did you experience with the resort?

We stayed at Sunset Waters last January and had no problem with the resort. Excellent house reef and gracious resort staff. We are returning this January.

Nope... but been to Curacao...

Stayed at the Lions Dive Hotel & Resort and dove with the Peter Hughes operation there... Very professional and a great experience. The diving in Curacao is great for beginners but experienced divers wont care much for it... Check out the Seaquarium while you're there... especially if you're taking kids...

Why? That's like saying experienced divers won't care for Bonaire, as the diving and everything is pretty similar especially if you dive at the right places in Curacao. It's not "advanced" diving skillwise for the most part, but plenty of critters, nice corals, what's not to like?

Cheddar,
We, too, are visiting Curacao in January (7th-14th) and staying at the Marriott. Although, I have read mostly positive reviews of Caribbean Sea Sports and certainly this would be the most convenient option, I chose to dive with Sunset Divers (Sunset Waters, 25 minutes from the Marriott) to dive the west sites. While it may be cutting it close to your departure date, I can PM, or post, any insights upon returning home....enjoy!
