the reduction in tourism will hurt those cubans directly employed in the tourist industry short term, but in a big picture sense for cuba is not likely to change much.
 
You may need to rethink this...
I worked in the dive industry for 20 years and preferred Americans by far. Because of the tips, not their poor diving.
