Stronger how? Shear strength? Puncture resistance? Durability?

I think most people would agree that crushed neoprene is more resistant to puncture, but more difficult to repair.

I second that. Crushed neoprene is very tough but a complete pain to patch.

Trilam material varies a lot. I have owned both DUI TLS 350 and Diamond trilam drysuits and the fabiric was much heavier and more durable on the Diamond suit - but no one complains about the TLS 350 either, so it is all relative.

The repair issue with a neoprene suit is just being able to isolate the specific leak to an exact spot. And then it takes a long time to dry before you can start the repair.
