Almost (maybe all) BP/Wing setups. Diverite for one.

Some Zeagle BCs can be fitted with a "Split Saddle Strap."

The softback/wing-type BCs (Dive Rite's TransPac, OMS IQ Pack, Deep Outdoors Matrix etc.) and various Poseidon BeSea models can also be fitted with crotch straps.

Manufacturers with bp/wing type products (Dive Rite, OMS, Deep Sea Supply, OxyCheq, Deep Outdoors, Agir, Golem, Zeagle, ScubaL, etc.) all offer somekind of crotch strap for backplates. Some offer either narrow or wide straps, some both.

I have 8 BCD's the back plates are factory ready for the strap (saddle), my SeaQuest Pro Unlimited does not need one because of the Depth compensating waistband, won't slide up. but on all the rest I (you ) could easily put one yourself or have one made for it. not a thing that requires a new one.

so the straps usually come standard on the wing types then....nothing on jackets i presume...well at least i know what type to get when i decide to buy a bc. thanks for the info

http://www.dui-online.com/bc_delta.htm DUI's Delta has a crotch strap. Comfortable bc also, I like mine a lot.

maybe you don't have a good fititing jacket . the waist strap should keep the bc snug fit to your waist and not slide up.

over at PPD most guys are getting into BP/wings set up hehehehhee

My Zeagle Ranger came with crotch straps and I love them. This is a back inflate BC and does take a dive or two to get used to it. Also ask you LDS if they could or would install straps on the BC you have now.

When I used Jacket Style BC, I hated the cummerbund since it kept opening and it didn't hold the BC down while on the surface, so I replaced the cummerbund with weight belt 2" webbing and buckle and the jacket worked fine, only poorly placed d-rings and surface sqweeze where a problem with that setup, I was planning on adding a crotch strap but I switched to BP/W setup and never tested the jacket with the crotch strap.
Maybe you can do the same and extend the life of your jacket BC, but I can predict that you'll be swtching to BP/W sooner or later, it happened to me.
