Your understanding is in error. Perhaps it's a reading comprehension problem. :eyebrow:

Where is my understanding in error? The physics of building a vessel that large out of wood that is sea worthy, the practicality of loading the animals in 7 days or the practicality of keeping those animals alive given the variety of diets and ecological niches they require?

Why don't you read this and learn something:

Soggy:
We have, multiple times.

"No" transitional ones is completely false and is claim made over and over again. It is *wrong*.

Read the links in this section on fossils to find out why you are totally wrong. It is incredibly annoying that creationists continue to lie about this.
http://www.talkorigins.org/indexcc/list.html#CC300

Fascinating link Soggy. Here is a brief snippet from same:

"There are transitional fossils within the Cambrian explosion fossils. For example, there are lobopods (basically worms with legs) which are intermediate between arthropods and worms (Conway Morris 1998)"

And how do evolutionists know they are transitional? Simple, because they are. Did they actually witness the transition between worms and arthropods? No. But they know it happened. That's not science, it's faith. The Church of "Science"-ology.

Well, no. The conditions for fossils to form are rare and finding those fossils is even rarer. Transitional animals only exist for short periods of time, thus the odds of them being fossilized is very low. Even with all this, we have transitional fossils.

Shouldn't there be a bunch of them? Of course not, and because there is not, the great and dead SJG devised the fantasy of punctuated-equilibrium to explain the lack of transitionals.

Please read the dang thread...it has been done to death.

Yes we can. It has been experimentally tested in labs. Before perpetuating more lies, please go back and read the thread, especially Warthaug's posts as he does this for a living.

All you've witnessed is speciation and then leapt to the conclusion that it leads to leaps between orders and classes. Keep on leaping; it's good exercise.

"To put it another way, please show one example where you posted that you agree with something that contradicts the bible or a post where you say the bible is wrong."

I haven't said the Bible is wrong because I haven't yet found it to be. Now before you jump all over that, please take note of the fact that my posts are seperated into those that try to discuss science and those that discuss scripture. I have not tried to use scripture to present an arguement against science. In my posts discussing science my focus is on questions or questions regarding what I see as holes in what the toE explains. Never did I say that it's false because the Bible says so. In fact, I don't even think that I've come right out and really stated my opinion on evolution.

You are right, and I respect that you have tried to avoid scriptural explanations for scientific ideas, but please explain where all the 600 year old people went.

Soggy:
Him being 600 years old doesn't bother you in the least? It's a biological impossibility.

It is now. BTW, you can see in the Bible where God says what the life span will be and where it shortens to what we would consider "normal".

Green_Manelishi:
Genesis 7:7 states that Noah and his family entered the ark. Genesis 7:8-9 state the animals "... went into the ark to Noah."

Yes it does.

Sorry I missed your responses because in addition to having reading comprehension difficulties, you also don't know how to use the editor to quote text.

And how do evolutionists know they are transitional? Simple, because they are. Did they actually witness the transition between worms and arthropods? No. But they know it happened. That's not science, it's faith. The Church of "Science"-ology.

Uh, well, gee....that's a tough one [scratches forehead]

Are you that thick, really? It's a transitional species because they have found species with nearly all the same traits just before it, and ones with nearly all the same traits just after, but all have subtle differences and the before and after are more different than the before and transitional and transitional and after. No faith, just study, experimentation, and evidence.

Um, "It's all a conspiracy"...that's your answer? Provide your evidence so I can laugh at it. Here's the REAL reason why there are limited (but still thousands of) transitional fossils...your lack of reading comprehension will not change this fact:
Soggy:

Keep the lies coming.

How convenient.

How about scientific evidence that there was ever a human being alive of that age?

Green_Manelishi:
Genesis 7:7 states that Noah and his family entered the ark. Genesis 7:8-9 state the animals "... went into the ark to Noah." Even today animals seem to know when catastrophe is about to strike. Humans prefer to go to the beach and watch the big wave(s).

Wait, so *all* the animals came to Noah? Must be some good swimmers in there to make it across the Atlantic and Pacific oceans. I wonder if the Galapagos Turtles swam to Noah, along with the Mountain Lions in North America.

With swimmers like that, what was Noah's job exactly? They could've just chilled in the big world-wide jacuzzi.

Did he put them back afterwards or did they swim back across the oceans and reisolate themselves?

Stop embarrassing yourself. It's a children's story, nothing more.
