Ok, for all of you who say evolution has not been observed... A new species of lizard, evolved within 30 years...

Lizards Rapidly Evolve After Introduction to Island

Take that, Ben Stein :)

It's still a lizard. Unless, of course, we can look forward several (millions of?) and find that it became a rabbit, or a bird, or a whale, or ... a new hominoid.

And we are still apes, just developed more.

Actually ... not developed more, just developed differently.:D

Huh? Does someone need basic taxonomy explained? Creationism disputes speciation, I don't think they're desperate enough to fall back to *classation* yet.

Learn some biology ... please. Lizards don't, and never have, turned into rabbits, birds, whales, or hominoids. They all share common ancestors at some point in the past. Read Dawkins, "The Ancestor's Tale" for a wonderful exposition of the process. Here's a crib sheet for those too lazy to read.

Good Point. Actually my wife sits behind me often and squeezes, picks and preens my back. Classic ape behaviour...she just looks a whole hotter than an Ape:D

Thank you very much for your contribution, Dr. Zaius.

Did dinos not evolve into birds, and a terrestrial mammal evolve into whales? If so, then why can't the big-headed, hard-biting, lizards evolve into a non-lizard? All it takes is time. Or is it that dramatic changes appear only in the past?

Frankly I'm sick and tired of casting pearls before swine. If you have a real interest in knowing rather than trolling ... take a biology class.
