Staying at Marazul up in Westpunt. Last night there was a lot of wind and some rain. Around midnight the seas were pounding the seawall so forcefully that it kept me awake. Skies have cleared with no wind but sea is still crazy.

WOW!!! I would have never expected that! When we were at Marazul 2 years ago it would get some strong surge, but no where close to what your experiencing. @AndrewBoyd78, is there a particular time of year where this is more common, or is it just a bit more random?

Erik

It is now 1 pm. Winds picking up a the sea even rougher. @RIHappyDiver , the bench on south steps at Marazul has been washed away.

The pier at Go West was damaged, not sure if it is even standing now. Tons of flotsam and sand in the sea.

Absolutely amazing!

Try a shore dive at Cas Abao
