You can have my old set. US Divers, XL. Yours if you want em. You can pick up in Merrimack, NH or work (Lexington, MA) Send me a PM. I'll be traveling through Wed so I may not reply until Thurs. I have Large Scubapro Jetfins I can sell to you for $25.

I've rented fins from Cape Ann Divers last year for $6 when I lost my first pair of fins. I liked what they rented me so much that I bought a pair just like them (jet fins).

Or, you can buy a pair of fins for your dives then sell them on ebay when you're ready to move. If you do this, buy the kind of fins you think would sell quickly at your size, not necessarily the cheapest pair. Check out ebay on prices similar fins that sold to see if you would likely make your money back or at least enough to make it worth it for you.

Moving to Philippines? Sounds wonderful. The diving must be amazing!

the diving is freakin amazing..and cheap! hehe.. i was gonna do the ebay idea but errr i think ill just go with reefseal's fins! BWAHAHAHA thanks a lot i got your PM and will call you.. if possible, ill bring my booties to lexington and ill try which fits me best..

I'm there. I'm sitting on a ton of United FF miles (266,997 miles to be exact) More than enought to get there in 1st class. Define cheap? Would be interested in chatting with you on where to go, how much accomodations are... When is best time to go?

Luis

thats a LOT of miles!! i will be your personal dive sherpa! The best time is basically summer time..between feb to may. from mid june til about sept or so is rainy and floody season..so its not gonna be that great to visit. I did apo reef last december it was awesome..
I did a weekend of 6 boat dives, from saturday morning til sunday afternoon. Including accomodations at a NICE resort (an area with no hookers hanging around excuse my french) GREAT food, massages, etc. for only 100$ . Thats including buffet meals and dive tank rentals, weights, DiveMaster, boat, etc.. If you eat a lot, you will probably spend 150$ (thats side-ordering a lot of drinks, desert, etc.. ) but basically.. thats damn cheap!!! compared to over here.. and thats just a 2 hour drive from the city. if you want to do liveabords, the premier reef called tubbataha is open from march til may and itll cost you under 700$ for 5 days diving, including food, tanks, everything. A shorter trip to apo reef will cost 360$. thats 3.5 days diving. If you wanna see some pics, and im not the best photographer, theres so much more to see out there, check out http://scuba.mangoqueen.com okidoki PM me if u want more info or we can chat more in the parking lot on thursday hahaha
