Just got back from Coz about 2 hours ago, and wanted to post a reef report. All the reefs that I saw was still covered with sand. Vis was down to anywhere from 50-70 foot on the average. One dive vis got down to about 5 foot, maybe less. Granted, on that one, a storm was about to move in, so I will cut that one a little slack. Any of the deeper dives, t was like diving in a snow shower, with all the sand still being blown off the reefs. I still had a good time down there, but it wasnt nearly as good of diving as it was last year. Hopefully, the current will clean the reefs off soon and it can get back to being the good ole Cozumel that we all remember before Emily.
