Cozumel pix 4/30- 5/4

Here are the pix from my trip to Cozumel. Dove with Blue ST Sea (cannot speak more highly of Christi and her team - absolutely amazing people) and stayed at the Fiesta Americana. We went non-AI (my wife is a non-diver) and ate at many of the places listed on the list and some recommended by Christi. This was my first dive trip there and wow...can't wait to get back. Dove 3 of the days with Michelle and Rick Hart and one with Rick Inmann. Fun to put faces to the names! I rented a Sea & Sea DX3000G w/ YS25DX strobe from Holly at Island Photo-Video Center to try out. I had been using a Reefmaster DC310 but do not like the fixed focus part so these are my first time with the new set up. I have not done much work on them with Photoshop yet too. Enjoy.

Man I really need to get a strobe for my UW camera, it really makes a big difference in the quality of the photos.
Nice to see what I'm in for, I'll be diving with BXTS in a couple of weeks. Can't wait!!

Look at my Cozumel timer. Looks like we might be diving together! We'll be with Christy May 29, 30 ,31, and June 1, then Deep Blue June 2, 3, and 4. How about you?

Hi Jay,

Great pics!!! On that picture of the baracudda....I really had to laugh because Rick has a pic from his camera (film camera...I don't have them on line) that he took of a baracudda and we were trying to figure out who was in the picture with the cuda. Basically, he took a pic of you taking a picture of the baracudda! I'll have to show Rick your album when he gets home from work...saw a pic with him in it that you took from above and another one with me in it. All of your pics look great! Thanks for sharing them with the board!

We will be there the 28 to the 1st (short trip) and we're diving with Christi the 29th, 30th, and 31st.
How many dives are you planning on doing the 29th and the 30th? Christi was saying to make a 3 dive day she needed more than just my wife and I.

Thanks all. The S&S was easy to use and Holly does a great job on introducing it. Probably will be looking to buy the 5mp version in the fall or so.
