Solo travelers do best staying in town. Many hotels to choose from. If you don't need a pool,
Suite Bahia 60-80 or cheaper
Casa Mexicana 70-100
Barracuda 60-80

I am solo in November at Barracuda for 60 a night. 6th-12th diving with Bottom Time.
Nice small hotel not fancy but OK, in town and on the water, has small pool and lively bar during the afternoon. Pretty quiet after 6pm.

Thanks for posting this site! Never heard of it before, and it has great rates!! With the Orbitz $200 off code disappearing for 2011 :(, this might be a good alternative for some killer prices.

New to me too. Seems to be a sub-brand of NexTag, which I have used. Best rates seem to be linked to Otel.com and gtahotels.com, also new to me. Hope they don't try to sneak in an admin fee while booking. Grrr

No extra fees, I booked last year with them and had no problems. From what I've been able to learn Otel and GTA deal with Europeans mostly.
