Most I photograph or have seen are somewhere between 1/2, 3/4 and an inch overall in size. Unless the adults hang out somewhere else that is..
 
It was recommended that I contact someone at coralreeffish.com for an ID and the response was Lancer Dragonet. Additionally reported the larvae are ~4mm.
The photos from Humann and Deloach and internet sources show the fish with different colors and patterns but it would appear that this fish can vary. Thanks all.
 
Was just gonna post that it's a lancer dragonet.. but then I see your post.. and how long ago it was.. LOL. Glad you got a positive ID
