Dan, it's not about YOU traveling to a safer environment. It's about what YOU and OTHERS are bringing with them to that environment. This argument should not be about I or ME. It's about keeping others safe by not introducing them to the virus.

I have been careful, wearing mask whenever social distancing is not possible, PCR negative tested every month for the last 3 months (my 4th PCR test is tomorrow), monitoring my body temperatures twice a day for a week before the trip, social distancing whenever possible, washing my hands before touching things that are not mine, just got my 1st shot of Moderna yesterday. So I keep other safe by NOT having the virus to give them in addition to wearing the N95 mask the proper way and washing my hands before touching things that are not mine.

It has no meaning whatsoever to others.
Having a shot does not mean you could not be be infected and then transmitted to others.
You are NOT the only one so far in SB suggesting that he/she should be allowed to travel because........ As someone has already said it is NOT just you.
Everywhere is crying out for tourists but very few is readily opened its front door to them. A responsible Gov should put the health of its own people above everything. No one has the power to bring back the live of the death.

Again, if I have no COVID-19 in me to begin with, wear N95 mask properly, wash my hands before touching things that are not mine, how would I infect others?

I got negative PCR. I followed the destination country’s COVID protocol. They allowed me to enter the country.

If you choose not to travel, good for you.

Bark all you want, it won’t change anything. It’ll be just wasting your time & energy. I’ll still be out there traveling to places that let me in. :p

Ha ha so self-oriented.
There are other countries that would not let you in no matter what you had claimed/done eg. Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines and Thailand just to name a few.
You probably could not even enter Canada as US citizen!

Yes I’m so self-oriented. You’re a bit slow to notice. I have been called irresponsible idiot, delusional and now selfish. Yea bring it on. It doesn’t bother me.

I could go to Indonesia if I wanted to. I’m Indonesian after all. I know ways, relatives & friends to get me a business visa, but I rather not do it as I see that they are not ready.

We are now seeing that it likely does prevent transmission.

Pfizer-BioNTech Shot Stops Covid Spread, Israeli Study Shows

A responsible Gov should put the health of its own people above everything. No one has the power to bring back the live of the death.

The economic health of their people is also important. Many of the countries that rely on tourism don't have robust economies or large governments that can pay while the nation is locked down and the follow on recovery. I think one person in the Cozumel forum said that the total governmental assistance the people got over the past year was a couple of food boxes.

It is Now Clear that is you are fully vaccinated (at least with Pfizer, likely others) that you are about 85% less likely to get even an asymptomatic Covid infection than an unvaccinated person. If you DO still get infected with Covid after vaccination you are about Four Times less likely to infect others than would an unvaccinated person.

There are more and more studies coming out reinforcing these findings. While it does not reduce risk of infection or transmission to Zero, it's a big improvement of where have been until now. Combined with standard Covid protection practices this will begin to allow more travel in the near future.

Of course there are ways to enter Indonesia, this is Indonesia afterall.

Why didn't you then since you won't bring anything nasty to the country.

Business visa for a social visit!!! Forgot about this practice only applied to Indonesia at the moment.
