Does anyone know if it's possible to convert a non-scuba drysuit for scuba use by adding the valves? Is the material and zipper robust enough for diving?

This question has been asked a few times before. It's hard to say without knowing exactly what suit you want to convert. The reality is that even if it were robust enough material, the cost of doing it would probably equal the cost of a new suit or more as you still have to buy the parts and all to add. That is the quick answer. A decent dry suit can be had for as little as 400 bucks or even less. Give up the dream, lol.

I put some valves from one of my old suits on a Whites SAR suit and used it for a few years. As mentioned, it really depends on the suit material. Many non-diving drysuits (for pilots, especially) are made of a breathable material which probably won't be as dry as you'd like.
