From what I've seen, the guys are super helpful at Burlington Scuba and the training they conduct appears to be first rate.
About the other question, there are some good scallop beds in the area of.... where was that.... Darn! I can never remember the location unless I'm on someone's boat....
What size boat do you have? That might help me recall....
Otherwise, Fran Marcoux runs great scallop charters out of Gloucester on his boat "Daybreaker". 6 to 8 divers maximum. Super pleasant group. He lets you dive the way you want to dive.... and puts you right on the beds.... or into lobsters.
If you get on his email list, Fran will send you periodic updates of his charter schedule. It should be coming out soon.
