Not really much to do, so I started looking for something.

I looked at some shims from Mcmaster Carr, and was wondering if those could be used in the Scubapro Mk10.

It was here:McMaster-Carr
https://www.mcmaster.com/#90334A116
Outer diameter is slightly small, .75" as opposed to .8", inner dia is good, as is the thickness. I am mostly wondering about the material.

Any ideas?

Yes, I those should fit just fine. No problem with them being slightly small. The spring base will be adequately covered
I use punches for my homemade shims:
19mm OD,
1/2" ID

And better centering than my homemade ones. Nice find!

PTFE will be fine from a Nitrox standpoint. Mine are cut from sheet polyethylene. I just don't know how brittle they might be, which is my only concern.

I'll order some too!
