Well, some are for diving in water about 100' deep. Some for 240' deep and some for 300' deep.

Perhaps I am missing something. I just bought a spool I paid it less than 15 eur let’s say 15 USD. Unless I buy 100 spools I can’t spend 1.500 usd in spools only...

A spool, yes. But buy yourself a couple of 400 or 800 foot reels at $200 a piece and it starts to get expensive..

I think (know) @Superlyte27 is being conservative.

I've just roughed out my spend for myself and my wife over the last 4 years. There is no way I'm actually going into my dive store to identify and cost everything.

I have to buy a truck to haul our gear and cylinders for our regular local diving.

Including that, some training and vacations, over the last 4 years gives me a scary number.

In USD it's a 6 figure number, and it starts with a 2...

And I don't even have a rebreather nor a big camera rig nor buy helium
