Most of it makes sense, but... you bought four dorkels. Need redundancy for some technical snorkling?
No. I found out I just like snorkels. It's like collecting coins or stamps. I don't really need them, at least not for scuba maybe for snorkeling. Now I am looking for a Soviet Union vintage snorkel

Careful what you say in public, saying you like snorkels around here is kind of like talking about your porn addiction in church. There are those who will be SHOCKED and disturbed by it. And they will never look at you the same way ever again...

I had a friend ask me why I'm always broke then I showed him my scuba room
After seeing all my gear hanging and whatnot he asked how much I have invested so far I did a rough calculation of close to ten grand not including consumables like tubes of neoprene cement and god knows how many air fills

I'm in the same boat, my tank 'farm' investment alone exceeds $ 10 K (U.S.)!

One should never total up this sort of thing. One's spouse might see it and start shopping for shoes/dresses. Cars and scuba gear are two things one should never disclose price.

Camera rig?
My divebuddy wife thinks she knows what I spend on camera gear.
I also think I know what she spends on shoes...
We both win.

I made a summary also for this

This table looks awful, the total is slightly less than the cost of the gear. I bought the 3 way pole official Go Pro accessory, but I didn't like it. Then again I bought two cheaper clones that I like more. I got Super Suit from the official Go Pro website, few days later there was a discount of about 20 euro on Amazon.

I added up roughly what I have in dive gear. Several rebreathers, computers, too many tanks....I stopped around 30K....I didn't want to get a real number because it might have depressed me.

Don't forget to spend money on GOOD dive education. Gear without knowledge and skills is just stuff.

Well, except for the snorkels, you have managed to keep things reasonably in hand. Now the trick is to not get sucked into reading too much on SB
about new neat stuff, or the different ways to set up your regs (you will have to buy every length of high and low pressure hose out there to try), or better BCDs or BP&Ws, regs, fins (heavy, light, fastest back finning, color, etc.), AI computers, dry suits (you need one no matter the water temp), etc., you get the idea. I've got a lot of stuff I thought I needed and don't.
