You're LDS, local dive shop, may have a recommendation for you or contact one of the major diving schools and ask them for their recommendations, Dr.'s names, supply companies, et cetera.

As to 'diving dogs'. There were articles some 30+ years ago in Skin Diver Magazine where diver's canine companions were provided with modified equipment to allow the pets to accompany their masters. Gave newer meaning to the phrase of being "an old sea dog"!
