Halthron:
Moonie, go. However you get there, go. Don't go for the corals, go for the stuff that's totally unlike anything Anilao has to offer. I know I want to return and see more, just don't know when.

yah, yah...want to, just thinking of the cheapest way to get there to spend more for the diving... i'm a SCUBARAT :D

Where did everyone go!?!?! I come back from dinner and drinks and no action? No one taking shots at anyone else? No Chip?

HEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO??????????????

is there an echo in here? ;)

hahaha! You guys are right! I was so excited to see 151 replies only to find about 140 of them off topic! PASAWAY talaga! How I wish I could reply to all of them...

All I have to say is I will wear my blue skimpies on saturday for you Pak. ;)

typing up part two na...

Oh and Spoon is spending quality time with Mons. He'll be back in full SB action tomorrow.

Mike Veitch:
Dude, you sure that wasn't on a coral head? ha ha ha ha ha

I had some great Asian Spirit rides into and out of Caticlan!

Halthron: how deep are the wrecks?
Veitchy, the wrecks we did varied from 100ft (Tangat, Kgoyo Maru, Olympia Maru) to just 15 ft (East Tangat Gun Boat). But there are others 130ft plus (Irako). The deepest I went was 29m.

ps, read the italics of my report for the specific wrecks.

pakman:
Chip great report. you know what pic I wanna see.

Looks like Discovery Divers hasn't changed in years (I was there in 99). Yeah Gunther and his wife were great hosts. Any chance a certain lovely japanese female DM was still there (my AOW sensei... ;) )?

oh and what's with that expression on your face on the stairs? is iris and purple poking your rear?
sorry pak, no more Japanese cutie. Iris's group were led by a Korean DM the first day (I'll let her tell about the experience).

The plane is still there, but changed locations, I'll see if I can pull out a pic...

Oh, and Iris was not poking at my rear. Me and Spoon were the first ones up the cliff and last one back. We're keeners like that. :14:

k, no more replies till I finish the second half trip report...

Halthron:
35-140ft

Now that work has asked me to write up a trip report and travelogue, I found this site http://www.coronwrecks.com/ which contains a lot of info on the different wrecks.

Trip report and travelogue? Do you work for the PI dive industry?!?

You are not a woman!!!! no Veitchy for you!!!!

Ha! Toronto lost to Ottawa 7-0 when you were diving!!!! :e18:

But, going down to wrecks at 100 plus feet in not so good viz is damn cool isn't it? Really gives a great feeling of spookiness and awe!! I know you all had a great time and you are giving a great report Chip. Thanks

Edit: lovin the report, i just like giving you a hard time...
