I like how Jag got the first blame on that one.... :D

You are right Chip...we did bring your report way off topic!! sorry bout that...won't happen again...
hey! i was trying to help!!! i figured if you could get on pak's case for "a nasty rash in thailand" then spoon and chip were going to be shark bait in record time!

good thing i had sharp eyes! too bad spoon's edit window ran out though (snicker snicker)

it's all mike's doing... he was mentioned 3 times

like my signature states ...

DIVE AS I WILL = freedom of choice = (ano paki mo? = you care?) hehehehe

in diving the phrase (JAMDIVER this is for you-as i recall in the NMOF thread you asked what it means)

the reserve is more important than the attacking force =

observing a well thought out dive plan
rule of thirds
redundancy/ back-ups
proper training and recent knowledge
utilising knowledge gained
knowing tide changes
determining U/W currents before the dive
assessing divers in the group before, during and after the dive
bail out bottle at 20ft.
etc.
listening to opposition (they just may have something usefull for my betterment)

those are the reserves.

and this post is

38_spoon_and_chip_climbing_underwater.JPG

^ Spoon and me climbing. The shear walls of Barracuda lake extend 35 m below the water.

40_arm_in_the_sediments.JPG

^ At the bottom of Barracuda Lake is pure silt. The bottom is also full of snails. I could feel them even when I pushed my arm in up to my elbow.

42_mars_or_middle_earth.JPG

^ My last and favourite picture in Barracuda Lake. Looking up 45 degrees and you'd think you were on Middle Earth.
