And Ishbaby, here's the Asian Spirit plane at the wonderful busuanga international airport (after they shooed away the goats from the landing strip). Shugar, sorry no exotic animals but a domesticated rooster... no zulus there as well to greet us...

halthron - yeah looks like you guys had the same kind of viz I had on my trip. great wrecks though and still worth the trip!

edit: I hope they improved the road from the airport to Coron. That was the most bone jarring jeepney ride of my life...

edit2: BTW, that exact plane crashed in Manila bay some years ago...

My friends flew Asian Spirit last year to Coron from Manila and their plane landed safely... ;)

That sea-plane looks like it's half way to being a dive point!

well, they better land safely! :p

We'll see about the plane if the cost won't be such a pain. :)

I wanna go home but it's still so damn traffic out . . . haaaay.

my thoughts too. if they could drag it out a bit, it would make a great shallow wreck dive. But I think it's located in front of a boat channel... I thought I remembered Gunther, the owner of Disco Divers, mentioning they were thinking of doing something with it...

Oh BTW, did anyone of you guys who were in Coron this weekend see the big "merong, pak was here, merong" I painted on the side of the wreck?

Dude, you sure that wasn't on a coral head? ha ha ha ha ha

I had some great Asian Spirit rides into and out of Caticlan!

Halthron: how deep are the wrecks?
